Energy Week @ ETH 2023

Once again, the ETH Zurich cordially invite you to visit the Energy Week @ ETH and to learn about new developments in energy research and to exchange ideas with scientists. In addition to the events, you can learn more about energy topics and innovative energy research at ETH Zurich in the public exhibition in the main hall of ETH Zurich.
Exhibition
Take a walk through the main hall of ETH Zurich and learn more about selected energy research areas at ETH Zurich. True to this year's motto of Energy Week, "Innovation in a crisis", the exhibition showcases innovative energy research areas and by which means the researchers are working towards a more sustainable and stable energy system with net zero greenhouse gas emissions.
The exhibition is open to the public during the regular opening hours of the ETH main building and does not require prior registration.
Opening hours of the ETH main building (Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zurich):
- Monday to Friday: 6-22 h
- Saturday and Sunday: 8-17 h

Monday, 4 December, 13:30-17:45 h
Symposium (in ETH Zurich's Audimax) with an apéro (open to the public)
(The symposium will be translated simultaneously into German and English.)
Tuesday, 5 December, whole day:
Energy Sprint (ETH main building) with a Design Thinking Process on energy challenges (for Masters and Doctoral students)
(The Energy Sprint will be held in English.)
Wednesday, 6 December, whole day:
Next Generation University (ETH main building) with a Design Thinking Process on energy challenges (for highschool students)
(The Next Generation University will be held in German.)
Wednesday, 6 December, whole day:
DemoUpCARMA Closing Event (ETH main building) - specific solutions for CO2 management, with lessons learned from the DemoUpCARMA research project (open to the public)
This event is part of a co-operation with the DemoUpCARMA management team.
(The DemoUpCARMA Closing Event will be held in English.)
Thursday and Friday, 7-8 December, 16:00-18:00 h:
Focus Dialogues (online) on "Mobility", "Electricity Supply + Policy", "Building Environment" und "Storage + Grids" (open to the public)

Energy Data Summit (ETH main building) (open to the public)
